Notes for Francis Haney, There was another Francis Haney listed in the 1810 Marion County, Illinois Census. He could have been the father of this one, thou nothing has been proven. This Francis was in the 1830,1840,1850,1860,
Wayne Co., Illinois census and then was found in the 1870 Jefferson County,Illinois census. He owned 25 acres in Section 25, Farrington Twp. Jefferson County, Illinois.
1860 Jefferson County, Illinois census shows two girls living in the home of Francis.
1. Louisa Inman age 16 b-Illinois @1834, 2. Artininea Inman age 14 b- Illinois @ 1836. These could have been the
children of Francis daughter as there was one listed in the 1830 Census.

Mustered in Oct.14,1864, at Olney,Illinois. He was living at T4,R4, Jefferson Co.,Illinois 11 th district 134 Sub. Div. He was at Camp Butler, Illinois on Jan. 4,1865
On April 9, 1865 he was in the Hospital at Quincy, Illinois with a disease. He mustered out June 16,1865.

4. James L. Haney (Francis ) was born 1818 in Tennessee and died December 11,1875 in Farrington Twp.,
Jefferson County, Illinois.He was buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Jefferson County, Illinois.
He was married in 1837 to (1).Caroline _________ born 1823 in Tennessee. He married
(2) Serena P. Mifflin on Oct.7,1855 in Jefferson Co., Illinois, by John Harlow.
She was the daughter of Pleasant Mifflin. She was born 1835 in Tennessee and died September 30,1918 in the home of her son James Hallick Haney in Wayne Co,Mo.She was buried Richmond Cemetery, Wayne County, Missouri.
Notes: James was listed in the 1850 & 1860 Wayne Co., Illinois Census. He was listed in the 1870 Census for Jefferson Co., Illinois and living with him was his father Francis Haney b-1788.
Serena was in the 1880 Census, Jefferson County, Illinois, age 44, living alone with her children.On May 3, 1885 Serena married Benjamin H. Haney
