   Charles  Haney
  Dix-----Charles  H. Haney, 94, of Dix and  formerly of Mt. Vernon, died at 11:44 p.m. Thursday, March 28,1996 at Good Samaritan Regional Health
Center,
  He was born July 15, 1901 in Thorn- field, Mo, son of James B. and Sopronia (Clark) Haney. He first married Ada Croy and she died June 22, 1959. He later married Hazel M. Gnevo Wilson on June 2, 1962, in Camdenton, Mo., and she survives.
  Other survivors include three sons, Bob Wilson of Mt. Vernon, Jerry Wilson of Robinson and Larry Wilson of Lake- land, Fla.; two daugh-ters, Beatrice Keeling of Overland Park, Kan., and Glenda Burton of Mt. Vernon; 13 grand- children and 20 great-grandchildren.
  Mr. Haney retired after having been a  clerk for Rock Island Railroad fo more than 30 years. He was a member of Assembly of God Church.
  Services are 1 p.m. Sunday at Hughey Funeral Home with Bob Burton officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens.

  Haney -- Mrs. Della E. , widow of the late Jack Haney, age 82, of 212 Brunswick St., Hammond, passed away Tuesday, August 11, at the residence following a short illiness.
  Survivors; 3 sons, Harry, Calumet City, Clarence and Paul, both of Hammond; 2 sisters, Mrs. Edna Fortin, Kankakee, ILL. and Mrs. Lulu Prahl, Worth, ILL.; 2 brothers, Albert Arseneau, Fowler and Amble Arseneau, Bradley, ILL.; 9 grandchildren; 25 great grand-children.
  Funeral Services Friday, August 14, 9 am, Bernard A. Dziadowicz Funeral Home, 4404 Cameron Ave. 9: 30 am, St. Joseph Church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Francis Jansen officiating.
  Burial, Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, ILL. Friends may call at the chapel 7-10 pm today and 2-5 and 7-10 pm on Thursday.

      Randall Haney
  Herod----Randall Wayne "Randy" Haney, 34, of Herod died at 5:35 a.m.Thurs- day, May 27, 2004, in rural Saline County.
  He was born on Aug. 7,1969 in Harris- burg, son of Johnny Martin and Ida Marie (Norman) Haney.
  He is survived by his father, John M. Haney and wife Melody of Harrisburg; his mother, Ida Haney of Eldorado; grand- parents, John and Oneda Haney of Harris- burg; a son, Randall W. "RJ" Haney Jr. of Simpson; a daughter, Misty Dawn Haney of Simpson; two stepbrothers, Troy Stanford of Las Vagas and Travis Stanford ofHarris- burg; a sister, Melissa Griffith and husband Brad of Eldorado; six uncles, Donald Haney and  wife Vickie, Glendle Haney, Gary Haney, and Archie Haney and wife Robin, all of Harrisburg, Lyndell Haney and wife Mary of Vincennes, Ind. and Troy Norman and wife Jana of Odin; four aunts, Sharon Mattlingly and husband Jerry of Harrisburg, Karen Baker and husband David of Raleigh Anita Bates of Cookville, Tenn., and Leisa Horn and husband Mike of Broughton; and a longtime friend and business partner, Bobby Brown of Harrisburg.
  He was preceded in death by grand- parents, Brian and Bell Norman; and two uncles, Byford Norman and Butch Norman.
  Mr. Haney was a coal miner at American Coal Co. Services will be held at 7 p.m., Sunday at Gaskins Funeral Home in Harris-burg with the Rev. Barry Bascom officiat-ing.
  Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
  Memorials may be made to an education-al fund established for Mr. Haney's children, Misty and RJ and will be accepted at the funeral home.
