Nicholas A. Houston was promoted to Sgt. with the U.S.Army

He will be stationed in Korea for a year.

Sgt. was sent to Korea Nov. 18, 2002

Nicholas is now serving in Iraq

S.O.S Nicholas was sent back to Irag for a second tour

I am sorry to say that I might have to close the obituaries out as my site is growing and I might need the space for the growing trees ( not the ones for the families, but all the others listed as collected obituaries)

1949, my aunt had a baby girl, that was adopted out. I was 9 years old at this time and I was at my g-mothers house the day my aunt came home from the hospital with no baby, which I didn't understand. Where was the baby? I have searched for that baby 54 years.

The baby was born at Centralia, Il. & adopted out of St. Louis, Mo. The baby lived in Salem, Il for the first 5 years. ( Which I knew nothing about)

Thanks to the internet I found the baby in Texas and that family is getting ready for a Reunion on November 8, 2003, in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

What a happy bunch of people, they are. My genealogy has made me a happy person too.

Reunions

The 1st Daniel & Alice Stonecipher, Henson Reunion

The first reunion was completely a suscess, with over a hundred people

attending in Sterling Illinois, Oct. 14, 2006. There was a lot of games played

with a lot of prizes..

We are hoping # 2 will be bigger and better.
